What people are saying on the web….

Thanks so much for all your kind words!

I might start calling Brenda at Unique Junktique “The Furniture Whisperer.” She has a wonderful ability to sense just what each piece needs. The Coastal Armoire in this post is a good example. Brenda masterfully applied paint, cut glass, and stripped hardware to create a beautiful piece that anyone would be thrilled to have in their home.

Talk about an incredible makeover! Brenda at Unique Junktique is a MASTER at converting what most would consider garbage into gold. She was given a vintage waterfall vanity by a friend, but it suffered some damage in some unusually heavy storms that passed through her area. Ever the clever crafter, Brenda saved the front of the vanity and turned it into an unbelievable message board/charging station! Just amazing.

The creative gal at Unique Junktique found the dresser with the drawers, but the dresser had been left in the rain and was ruined, but not the drawers!  She salvaged them by adding casters, and making under bed storage!  She used CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk and Clay based Paints in Traverse City Cherry, Blue Montana Sky, and Kentucky Mint. What a gorgeous way to mix and layer colors, and gorgeous storage too!

This amazing French Patisserie Bread Box was submitted by Brenda from Unique Junktique via my new submissions page!  Brenda created this beauty using my French Typography Transfer – Patisserie – Bakery , and was applied using the wax paper transfer method.  I absolutely love the colors she chose, and think it would make the perfect addition to any kitchen! –
