I love my smart phone camera photo apps and integrating them with social media! Seriously there are so many wonderful photo and video manipulations you can achieve with photo apps. And social apps are a great way to keep in touch visually while on vacation!

Fisheating Creek Outpost is one of our family’s favorite camping destinations in Florida. We love the water access for fishing and paddling. The Outpost has beautiful huge old oaks dripping with moss, and an Old Florida Vibe that can’t be beat! My family used to camp here when I was growing up, then the Likes Brothers bought the land and closed the campground for years, I am so happy the property was sold and now open for camping and I can bring our kids to experience some old Florida greatness.

These photos in this gallery were all done with Pixlr Express and Sketch Guru:

Made it back from our annual camping trip to Fisheating Creek Outpost, and I decided to share some photos of our trip for those of you who don’t follow me via Instagram…… I always post behind the scenes of the blog over there.

I have been playing with a few android photo apps over the last couple of months, there are so many out there to choose from! My favorites that I have been working with lately are basically Pixlr Express and Photo Studio Pro for photo editing and Sketch Guru for photo art rendering.

The editing photo apps available out there make your common shots look much more professional and are so much fun to create with. Even an inexperienced photographer/ video grapher using a simple smart phone can create wonderful images to share on the web. Did you know you can post short 15 second videos on Instagram? How cool right? Apps that let you create short seven second videos, or elaborate clips with great transitions and music easily. What a great way to keep in touch while out of town!

This short Video is my first attempt at creating an edited video via the Magisto Android App with still photos and video clips. The 7 Second Video app I also played around with and shared a short campfire video on Instagram while on vacation.

We stopped by Gatorama, a short skip and jump from the campground for some fun with the kids, and I got some great shots there these are edited with Pixlr Express:

Hope you enjoyed the photo spread! Try out these and other apps for yourself, they are loads of fun and help make your shots look stunning! I would love to connect with you on Instagram so you can show me what you got!

If you love camping, and plan a trip to Central Florida, I highly recommend Fisheating Creek Outpost as your destination for Old Florida camping, paddling, fishing, hunting, WiFi, Tent and RV sites they have it all.
