I came across these wonderful ” Chair People ” just surfing around the web by Rebeca Trevino an assemblage artist hailing from California aren’t they fabulous? Created from various junk finds, chair legs, and tree branches, I think they would be a wonderful addition for any Fall decor! She does a number of different style pieces, mirrors, shrines, scrabble tile signs, junky animal sculptures, be sure to visit her site and check out her other creations! My Favorite is Suzy on the far right, Great Job Rebeca!

These doorbells by Kelly Augerlavoie at Occulence are awesome! She is also an artist from California these would be perfect for Halloween, but I would keep them up all year round I like them so much. The eyes are hand painted glass, and yes they are not just for decor but are functional as well! Aren’t they fabulous? I love the patina on these particular two. Check out her Etsy Store for more variations.

I have a great love for Curiosity Cabinets, collecting weird looking items from nature is a Victorian pastime I find so intriguing. This one is beautifully artistically done, with wonderful attention to detail, look close.. some of the bones are gilded! It’s got just enough creepiness for Halloween art, but again I would keep it up all year I like it so much! Created by Kristina Cullen hailing from the great state of Washington, her shop is Open The Cellar Door over on Etsy. She offers a wonderful collection of bone related art, jewelry, more oddity cabinets and even beautiful custom bone gift bows! Kristina used to run a recycled clothing store, but her degree in Ancient Roman Art History and love of lost and forgotten objects lead her down a more creative path. Keep creating Kristina I love your works!

Have you heard of Tom Taggart? If you haven’t had the pleasure he is an artist worth checking out! A painter and sculptor extraordinaire! His works have been featured in various publications and have graced the window of Tiffany’s in N.Y. I can’t classify his works into a particular genre because he does a bit of everything, from spooky Halloween art, steam punk, aliens, mermaids, robots, DC Comics superheroes, tiki art, marine animals, he has a broad range of topics but with his own specific one of a kind style. I chose this piece because I found it fitting for Halloween, and well…. its just incredible! Just look at that sculpting! You can find his things for sale on Etsy, but be sure to check out his Facebook page as well for the full range of his works!
