Time for Tuesday’s Top Five Favorite Junk Finds once again. This weeks feature is vintage Jewelry Tree Art. I am obsessed with these gorgeous trees, for the past few years I have been ogling over them. I have gathered up a few for your enjoyment and inspiration ….
The really great ones in the Bang up ornate frames run from 300 to 600 bucks though, justifiable price for all the vintage rhinestone jewelry used on the heavily blinged out ones do cost a bundle, and as artists we all know how much a really great large frame can run. But it would be much easier on the pocket to purchase the pieces over time in little chunks, and much more satisfying for me to design one myself so I vow to really get collecting on all the vintage parts to create my own rendition for next year. But I would like to share some beautiful ones I have fallen for and maybe inspire you to create one for yourself!
I tend to gravitate to the trees done with a dark velvet background to me it just makes the artwork pop a bit more, here is a silver themed one with touches of blues and violets that is just stunning, found on Pinterest with no link to the artist unfortunately.
This jewlery tree art beauty with pearls, rhinestones, silver, and gold looks oh so fabulous on the ornate french frame, doesn’t it? It’s large and substantial at 33-1/2 x 17 inches and lights up as well! currently going for 695.00 on Ebay through Puddin523 this one sure makes a statement!
I love the simple symmetrical design on this one for sold by lawnwalker on Etsy for 195.00
Here is one done up in traditional Christmas reds and greens, found on Pinterest again with no accreditation to the artist, or details on the piece….. that so Irks me.. We Pinner’s really simply must get it together!
I so adore the colors used on this one, the odd shaped frame brings it extra visual interest with the dark Burgundy velvet background, this large 18 x 12 piece sold by twistedsisters88 at Finders Keepers Collectible Art on Ebay for a whopping 649.00! I adore the detail on this one! What a talented eye the artist has in creating these.
This is my favorite jewelry tree art find of the week, the top bonus feature, I love the mix of the vintage rhinestones with just a touch of gold, the brilliant choice of the heavy gold frame adds substance to the piece yet lets the artwork take center stage. Again found on Ebay by JohnnySoldJewels this stunning piece is currently at 500.00
Hope all the bling brought you some Christmas cheer!
There are so many of these great artworks out there I had a very difficult time choosing only 6, I have a ton more of these types of jewelry tree art pinned on my Junky Xmas board on Pinterest, If your looking for more, you can click on over there through the link on my sidebar.
